INSPIRATION

I think we all get into a lack of creative mojo mood now and again, and I really needed some inspiration to get my mojo moving in a different direction. I have been away on a small retreat with the lovely Gale Price and have always been inspired by her amazing work.  So I have used her work as my inspiration for this next piece.  Gale does amazing stuff with "eyes" and faces, so I tried my hand.. I spoke with Gale and she gave me a few tips, so I got to work! I used a Mont Marte hard wood canvas as Gale recommended and found the surface lovely and strong for my first attempt. I am back blogging again after a few months taking time out for various reasons!
I have been creating just for myself ,trying new techniques and I

am happy with the results! This layout is for  a fabulous challenge HERE

Wyzwanie #4 LO na białej bazie/ Challenge #4 Layout on the white cardstock

The criteria is :Create a layout on the white cardstock, using at least 2 media and silver or gold colour (of course you can use any other colours, too).

I used Finnabair  Mica Flakes Gold Leaf and Finnabair Micro Beads Black - it is the first time using these two mediums and I am happy with the result. Bazzill 250gsm white cardstock from Scrappingcleary, and the gorgeous " create transparency"  also from Scrappingclearly, American Crafts alphas, Typewriter journalling and Prima flowers also from Scrappingclearly

I love this photo of my Daughters!  They are now 14 and 13 so this photo has so many memories!! I used Tim Holtz "shattered" stencil, Monte Marte Texture Paste, White Bazzil 250gsm card stock from Scrapbookingfromscratch, Imaginarium chipboard, Prima flowers, Dylusions mists, script stamp by Pam Carriker love this stamp! D'Lish green tulle, Mounting Tape, Pilot Permaball Pen black. I hope you will join in the challenge at Words&Paintery this month!!

Here is the sketch - I turned it around and used one photo!! This is my take on the challenge at Kraft + this month! This gorgeous boy is Raquel Bowman's son Jack!! He is so scrumptious!
