I scrapped 7 layouts over 12 hours!

Well I scrapped and scrapped and had a ball! From 12noon to 12pm in Ballarat, at The Imagination Factory - it was great to catch up with Mel Nunn, Fiona Leehane and others I had met last year at the retreat!
I feel my batteries are now charged for another month or so! Great to get away from the daily grind for a while!
I have one layout to finish for 123 Challenge (yes Charmane it is coming!) before tomorrow so I will have to get off this computer!
Hope all is well in your world!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!

I have just realised I have been a slack blogger of late!
The Girls have gone back to school, and I am busy organising our
next fundraising event for Sam McIntosh. Sam, 17 was involved in a BMX bike accident whilst on a family holiday in Coffs Harbour in September. He is confined to a wheelchair, paralysed from the chest down with limited arm movement. (there was no compensation, so I decided to fundraise ) To date we have raised enough funds to have a spiffy wheelchair made in USA for him, air conditioning in his room and in the living room of the family home, and renovations to the bathroom for wheelchair access. Truly this young man is one of my biggest inspirations - he is positive, has a great sense of humour and is studying year 12 (final year before University for my American friends) - I am amazed daily with his attitude to life - from a young man who was into extreme sports, just Saturday I saw him and he and his brother Adam were off to play tennis.
I have become very close to the whole family and I am in awe of this special family bond.....
Sam is a true blessing in my life and the lives of Mia and Ella ..
Thanks SAMMY!!xxxxx
I am also trying to organise myself for an Anzac Day crop in Ballarat - from 12noon until 12pm!! Yippee at the Imagination Factory - so all that scrapping time YEAH
Next Friday so I better get my skates on and organise the layouts I wish to scrap (and I promise I will not talk tooo much lol!!!)
I have set myself a goal to complete 15 layouts - so wish me luck! More will be a bonus LOL!
So if anyone in blogland is free on Anzac Day and lives near Ballarat, give The Imagination Factory a call to make your booking!
Until next time, hopefully I will have some pics and layouts to post

HOLIDAYS NEARLY OVER

Mia, Ella and I have been up to Tarnagulla (where my brother and sisterinlaw live) an old goldmining town, we saw kangaroos very close, walked, played in the park and relaxed! Then on the way home we decided to pay a surprise visit to the lovely Tracey Pickersgill who has recently taken over the largest scrapbooking store in Ballarat and revamped it with a new name THE IMAGINATION FACTORY -Main Road Ballarat just opposite Soverign Hill - the shop looks fabulous and certainly worth a visit!
Tracey has the ever bubbly very talented Stacey (who has had her work published) working with her running beginners workshops, and the very talented published Scrapbooker Fiona Leehane also running workshops - it is a lovely place full of creative energy, lots of laughter and support.. It was lovely to catch up for a couple of hours - Mia and Ella had a ball doing craft with Beatrice (Tracey's 9year old daughter)
I am going to attempt to upload my pics of my layouts this weekend as I am still learning about the blogging system!!
Thanks for letting me ramble! If you are visiting, I would love you to leave a comment!!
