I HAVE BEEN CREATING!!

Hi there, I have been having a great time creating recently.

This layout I had fun with Dylusions, in the colours: Vibrant Turquoise Cut Grass, watered down with spray water bottle, a book page printed with  Amy Tangerine stamp which the gorgeous Nat May gave to me at a recent scrappy weekend. Amy Tangerine heart and XO, Black Permaball pen,  I think it just makes the background for my picture!  I used Tim Holtz Idealology Shattered stencil, with Mont Marte modelling pastes for the two pieces behind my photo.  I coloured the stencilled modelling paste with Prima Color Bloom in Soft Teal.

MY LAST GUEST DT LAYOUT FOR CRAFT HOARDERS ANONYMOUS CHALLENGE BLOG - USA

This is my last layout for my Guest Dt spot over at Craft Hoarders Anonymous challenge blog America!
I had so much fun with this sketch and the criteria!

Challenge #6 Sketch Challenge, with a Twist
Use the sketch below as inspiration for creating your project. You can modify the sketch to create a card, scrapbook layout, altered canvas, mini book cover, and so on. Now, for the TWIST! You must search your hoard and find one item that is OLD and one item that is NEW and use them BOTH on your project. Show us how you combine older items from your stash with something recently purchased.

Here is the sketch!

THIS LAYOUT HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION

I AM ONE OF APRIL'S GUEST DESIGNERS AT CRAFT HOARDERS ANONYMOUS CHALLENGE BLOG IN AMERICA!

Hi there!
I am thrilled to be one of the April Guest Designers at Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog!

This is Challenge #5  "Pick a Stamp, Any Stamp for Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog
You don't have to be a card maker to hoard stamps! With the popularity of pocket-style scrapbooking (Project Life and Photo Freedom) and the explosion of journaling stamps on the market, many scrapbookers have also become stamp hoarders. Digital stamps are more popular than ever. I am sure that most of us have at least one stamp in our stash! You may "collect" wood mounted stamps, clear stamps, cling rubber, or even digital stamps! Get one out, dust it off, and make it the STAR of your project! We want to see a stamp (sentiment, word art, image, etc.) on your project! Feel free to use more than one stamp, but you must have AT LEAST ONE stamped item on your project.

Here is my project!

Make sure you visit the Guest Designers and the Design Team to see what they have to share!

I used sequins, Technique Tuesday stamps, Studio Calico wood veneer stars, Micador Watercolour Paints, Pilot permaball black pen.

 Thanks for visiting!

WHAT IS OLD IS NEW AGAIN! UPCYCLE

Recently I was cleaning out my scraproom, and came across a small gold frame that was supposed to be used as a cross stitch embroidery hoop.  I took out the cardboard and the plastic "cover" - and painted over the ugly old fashioned gold frame with Derivan Black Paint (as most of you know this is my fave paint) available from Molossi.  I then left that to dry and cut out an oval piece of old book paper from my stash, and covered it with mod podge and allowed that to dry.
I then glued this onto the backing cardboard and glued the Manorhouse "Dream" diecut embellishment available  from Molossi and attached 3 antique looking flower embellishments also from Manorhouse available at Molossi.
I now have an upcycled piece for my sudio - please let me know what you think of it!
