July Sketch at Scrapping Clearly

Here is my take on the July Sketch!

I have used Tim Holtz Distress Cardstock, Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Bundled Sage which I used with water in a spray bottle through Heidi Swapp 12x12 stencil, Martha Stewart punch, Bazzil Black Raven cardstock, ribbon and peacock feathers from my stash, Marshmellow white cardstock 250gsm, XPressit Foam Mounting Tape, sequins, Crate Paper Lost and found.

June Challenge at Kraft+

Hi everyone Happy Queens Birthday Long Weekend! I have been creating this weekend and have finished lots of DT work!
I had time to join in on Kraft + June Challenge!

Here is my take on the challenge
This is a photo of my Daughter Mia when she was around 8 years old! 
I hand cut the "jigsaw pieces" - had fun with this one - thanks Kraft Plus!

WORDS AND PAINTERY CHALLENGE

Some close ups I used Bazill 250gsm Marshmellow Cardstock from Scrapping Clearly, Liquitex  Gesso, Gelatos, Embroidery thread, stencils, Muslin, flowers, seed beads, dictionary words from old Dictionary, Texture paste, Rhinestones, silver embellishments from my stash.

I blended two colours of Gelatos around the base of the layout for some depth.

June Moodboard at Scrapping-Clearly

Hi everyone  Who can believe it is June 1!  Freezing cold after a beautiful warm Autumn here in in Victoria.
Over at scrapping-clearly we have our June Moodboard challenge up and running - go and enter and you could go into the draw for a $20 voucher to spend in the amazing Scrapping Clearly Shop

I am also giving the first 3 people who upload the challenge and answer a question on the blog a prize of a RAK from my stash, so what are you waiting for - such a pretty Moodboard this month

Here is my take on the June Moodboard at Scrapping-Clearly  I took inspiration from the striking black stripes, the pink and the yellow.

I have used Bazzill 250gsm Marshmellow cardstock in white, American Craft gold Alphas, Hambley Pink Circle Acetate, WRMK Gold Striped Acetate Clearly Posh, Stickers from the WRMK Crush Collection, Ceramcoat Paints in Sun Bright Yellow, Dylusion Paint in Bubblegum Pink, Memory Maze Stencil, Xpressit Foam Mounting Tape, Washi Tape, Black Raven Cardstock, Pilot Permaball pen in Black.

Good morning creative peeps!
Following on from the amazing Lisa Oxley's KMART hacks, I purchased this $2 wall hanging from KMART and gessoed it with Dina Wakley White Gesso from Scrapping-Clearly shop.
Next I took some Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaz in purple passion - (wow what an amazing product) and painted over the dried gesso.  While this was wet, I sprinkled the amazing Prima Finnabair Sterling Glitter Glass over the top!

Once this was dry, I added some tiny paper flowers and small embellies from my stash and finished with a fine white crochet cotton bow.  This was a gift for a small little lady for her bedroom and she loved it! I would love to see if you have recreated any KMART hacks lately - I am giving a small RAK from my stash if you upload on the Scrapping Clearly Community page on FACEBOOK!!

KRAFT PLUS CHALLENGE MAY

I have always been a bit wary of being able to make Kraft layouts look interesting!! When I saw the prompt at Kraft Plus I immediately loved the vibe and so thought I would throw my hat in the ring!!  Better late than never!
I was inspired by the lady with the megaphone - it reminded me of this cute photo of my daughters when they were very young!
