JANUARY COLOUR CHALLENGE AT SCRAPFRIENDS

I have just spent the weekend with my lovely friend Ebony Van der Starre (we live 3 1/2 hours from each other so it is difficult to catch up regularly to scrap and hang out) and we had some time on Saturday night to scrap!   We both decided to try the Scrapfriends colour challenge!
the colour challenge is Orange green white and grey!!

Here is my take on the colour challenge : I used buttons from Eb's stash, Washi, Flutterbyedesigns "Click", Gelato Stamp from Christy Tomlinson she art, Photograph by Jen Hall, white cardstock arrows from Eb's stash

MY WORD FOR 2014

As you know, I am Head DT and Social Media person at Molossi - when Suzanne (owner of Molossi) saw my word, she cut it out of chipboard for me and included it in my DT kit!

I have created a layout and I was thrilled that the Molossi Word was a beautiful finishing touch!
If you would like your word for the year in chipboard then Molossi can accommodate!

HELLO 2014

Another year over which was filled with enormous personal challenges, I had to make difficult decisions that I was not ready to make.  I took a huge step and made the tough decisions - I am positive that 2014 will bring positive results from these decisions.  I am truly blessed with close family and close friends who are family to have held me up during these times.  Heartfelt thanks to my angels - you know who you are ...................
From a creative viewpoint I have achieved something I feel is amazing - I entered the Scrapbooking Memories Masters Competition during an extremely stressful time in my life, I had been hospitalised, we were in the throes of moving house, and many more stresses at the time.   My dear friend Ebony supported my entry and kept me motivated to finish it and to mail it off.   I was awarded an Honourable Mention for one of my projects that I submitted.  I was thrilled when I found out!   The first time I had ever entered the Masters competition and I received an HM!

I usually choose a word or a word usually chooses me for the New Year, but I have struggled to decide on 2014 word.
I have chosen my word for 2014 -

OPEN
I need to be open to new ways of thinking in 2014 in a myriad of areas in my life.
